The Atlas Learn AL2430 system is an in-classroom sound reinforcement solution designed for K-12 and higher education facilities or where a room constrained public address system is required. This complete audio package consists of amplifier/receiver, wireless microphones, and docking station. Together they enable teachers and students to walk freely around the room with the infrared microphones/system control units and project their voices through installed speakers.

With even sound distribution, lessons can be heard easily no matter where students are seated. By reinforcing sound within the classroom you not only raise student’s attention and concentration, but teachers no longer need to strain their voice and can easily integrate with multimedia teaching tools such as computers and DVD players by controlling audio from a single source. In addition, priority paging and emergency notification allows you to inform other locations of the need for outside assistance.

The versatile and ergonomic AL2430 pendant/handheld microphone transmitter allows both teachers and students to move freely without bulky electronics or annoying wires. The dual mode transmitter allows teachers to control microphone volume, overall system volume and mute settings with side mounted soft touch controls. In addition, when “PANIC” and “MODE” controls are pressed simultaneously a contact closure is triggered on the AL2430 receiver which may be integrated with most any intercom or IP based notification system to signal an emergency condition in the classroom. The transmitter can also be configured for “student” mode operation so that all controls are bypassed, restricting the device’s functionality for use as a wireless microphone only.

AL2430 Integrated Receiver / Amplifier

The compact, ergonomically designed AL2430 receiver/amplifier provides intuitive control of all system components. It is equipped with several inputs in order to accommodate most any multimedia source, eliminating the need for dedicated AV systems and saving you valuable space in the classroom.

AL2430 charging station includes a dock section to charge two pendant transmitters and four AA rechargeable batteries simultaneously. The unit may be wall mounted via integral key hole slots or shelf mounted for easy accessibility.

Up to three infrared dome sensors may be used with the AL2430 receiver/amplifier (two are included with the system) along with two 10 meter sections of UL listed coaxial cable terminated with professional “F” connectors.

Complete Pole Mounted Systems for Video and Audio Switching, Control, and Projector Mounting

The Extron PoleVault® Systems are easy-to-use, network-enabled, all inclusive packages that are ideal for schools, universities, and corporate environments. They use economical twisted pair cable for transmitting signals and include network connectivity for Web-based AV resource management, monitoring and control.

Each PoleVault System features the PVS 305SA Five Input Twisted Pair PoleVault Switcher with Integrated Stereo Audio Amplifier which offers two Extron-exclusive power saving modes designed to lower energy usage and reduce operating costs.

  • Auto Power Save Mode: This mode automatically shuts off the audio amplifier inside the PVS 305SA after 30 minutes, providing an almost 50% reduction in energy usage compared to normal, idle operation.
  • Standby Mode: This mode shuts off both the audio amplifier and the AV inputs on the PVS 305SA which power the input wall plates. Standby Mode is activated by the MLC 104 IP Plus or MLC 226 IP MediaLink Controller which comes included in a complete PoleVault System. Standby Mode can be scheduled for specific times when the system is not in use or it can also be set to activate when the projector is shut down. Standby Mode reduces power consumption of the PVS 305SA by over 60%.

PoleVault Systems have been designed in three standard systems to streamline the design and procurement process. These two-, three-, and four-input systems include all the necessary audio and video switching, audio amplification, system control, source connectivity, speakers, mounting hardware, and cabling for a complete classroom AV solution. All that remains is to add the video projector, projection screen, and video sources.

The three standard PoleVault System packages are each ordered using a single part number.

Q-SysTM is a complete integrated system platform that encompasses everything from the audio input to loudspeakers. Q-Sys provides all the audio routing, processing, control and monitoring necessary for any facility while maintaining the audio quality and reliability QSC has come to be known for.

Designed specifically for the rigorous requirements of large-scale applications, Q-Sys is a good choice for stadiums and arenas, legislative and judicial chambers, hotels and casinos, houses of worship, corporate campuses, educational facilities or anywhere else that requires a powerful system-wide audio solution.

The primary elements of a Q-Sys system are the Core and I/O Frame.

The Core controls the system; it performs all the audio routing and processing and handles all control functions. The Q-Sys Core is available in three sizes, Core 1000, 3000, and 4000, and features a centralized processing architecture.

Having all processing take place in one unit gives the designer complete flexibility while enabling simplified system redundancy. With a centralized architecture any input can be routed to any output without convoluted signal paths.

Although Q-Sys uses a centralized structure, it is still able to physically locate the input and output connections near their sources and destinations using I/O Frames.

Each I/O Frame can have up to four I/O cards enabling up to 16 channels of input and/or output in a single unit. Available cards include: a 4-input standard and a 4-input premium-quality mic/line input card, 4-channel line output card, an AES card with 4-channels of input and output, and a 4-channel card for connection to QSC DataPort amplifiers. Additional cards to be added so check back for updated information.

Christie MicroTilesTM take display technology into a new frontier. Built on proven DLP® technology and specifically designed for maximum image quality in high-ambient light environments, Christie MicroTiles are ideal for a wide range of demanding applications, including architectural elements, out-of-home advertising, command and control video walls, and event production.

Leveraging the strengths of both rear projection and Light Emitting Diode (LED) technology, Christie MicroTiles offer substantially brighter images and a much wider color palette than conventional LCD and plasma displays. With no practical limit to the number of tiles in a display, Christie MicroTiles produce a virtually seamless canvas with an unlimited number of super-fine pixels.

Here are a few features we enjoy…

The possibilities are endless
MicroTiles can be configured in any shape and size.

Uber user-friendly
Lightweight tiles lock together quickly and easily, like building blocks. The tiles automatically detect each other and continuously self-calibrate for color and brightness. Tear them down, reconfigure them and they’ll still recognize each other and recalibrate for you automatically.

Long live the MicroTile
With rock-solid housing, durable screens and a long-lasting LED light engine, your MicroTiles display is built for the long run. But just to be sure, each tile is 100% front accessible, allowing you to repair or replace any serviceable component in less than 15 minutes, without having to turn off or bring down any of the other tiles.

Color reproduction that defies nature
MicroTiles offer you color reproduction capability that exceeds standard LCD displays by over 50%. When you need a specific red, it gives you that red; brown – no longer a challenge.

Killer resolution
In this pixel powerhouse, you get 70x more pixels than the most popular 4mm surface-mount display LED panels. Your logo will never look blurred again. Your art will always look flawless. Your geographical content will never be misleading. And your message will be seen.

Its best angle is every angle
MicroTiles look amazing at any angle and any viewing distance. Plus, you can walk right up to the display for a closer look, even touch it – it’s cool and remains that way without sending your energy bills through the roof.
